The Ball-Park Estimate

Enrico Fermi, the famous nuclear physicist was well known for his estimation techniques. Fermi computed the yield of the Trinity Nuclear Test based on how far strips of paper moved as the shock hit the base camp. Why am I here?

You may be puzzled why I am posing such a deep philosophical question. The reason is this : In the treadmill of daily life we rarely have time to think about our life. So we go through this daily grind barely having energy at the end of the day. So, What is the  solution? : The solution lies in finding an answer to the question “Why am I here?” . If you know your life's purpose,Congratulations !!!...This post is not for you . Successful people are the ones who found out very early in their life on why they are here.  Warren Buffett started investing since the age of 12.Steve Jobs started out in his early 20s on building computers with aesthetic design. How to become Job Ready While In College?- General Aptitude

General Aptitude: General Aptitude is a must for folks who plan to pursue a Management degree(CAT/GMAT) or Study abroad (GMAT/GRE/TOEFL). This aptitude is absolutely required for getting through the Government/Public Sector exams (Banks, IAS, Public Sector exams). Here the focus is on rapid solving. So a lot of practice is needed to complete the Questions within the prescribed time. Quantitative Aptitude            This is nothing but your Maths of 6-12 th Standard. I would suggest the RS Agarwal book & Competition Success Review Publications as a starting level. The next level would be to check out the books of GRE. Final level would be the books/courses for CAT exams for those of you keen on the Management Courses. General English This is more of a test of your English vocabulary. This requires a bit more effort than Quantitative Aptitude especially if your strength is not the English Language. The cliché “Read English Newspaper Daily” is still the best advice
