Ingredients
Tomato – 3 pieces
Red Chilli – 3 pieces
Channa dal (Kadalai Paruppu) – 2 Teaspoons
Urad Dhal - 1
teaspoon
Asafetida – a pinch
Oil – 1 Teaspoon
Salt – ¼ Teaspoon
STEPS:
STEP 1: Place the Fry Pan on the stove
STEP 2: Add oil to the Fry Pan
STEP 3: Light the stove
STEP 4: Add Red Chilli, Channa Dal, Urad Dhal &
Asafetida
STEP 5 : Fry the Mixture till Urad dhal turns brown
STEP 6: Add the Full Tomato to the Pan
STEP 7: Heat till the Tomato is fried
STEP 8: Switch off the Stove
STEP 9: Take the mixture and put it in a Mixer
STEP 10: Add salt and beat in a Mixer for 2 Minutes
PS: You can use Thakkali Thuvaiyal as a Rice Mix or as a
Side Dish for Idli,Dosa
