Perspective : An Antidote for Discontentment

" Why is more important than What "...Simon Sinek                 Many of us become discontented with life for different reasons (most  are beyond are our control)...Neighbour who got a new bigger car, Toxic boss ,Tough customer , Traffic snarl...and the list is endless. I am not immune to discontentment, but there is no doubt that we need to "vaccinate" our self against day-today discontentment. Otherwise, Life is definitely going to wear us out...                 I am going to do some diagnosis here ...In the Modern life we live too much in the "present"...we are like the fireman holding the hose  on what is going to "blow-up" and fire-fight ,before moving to address the next fire. Six-Sigma methodology is a popular methodology for Quality improvement and works well with data-driven decision making. While the efficacy of Six-Sigma approach is under question these days, there is no doubt that some of the concepts are relevant not just to the Manufacturing shop floor but also to some of our problems in Life (Please read on…I am not trying to spin a yarn here…but remember Six-sigma works with Data).
