My life changed!

Reading has impacted my life…I began with books and got hooked on to blogs. They have made a positive impact to different aspects of my life such as personal finance, being mindful and creating habits…This is not to mention the number of idiotic stuff that I have stopped indulging in…(I am too ashamed to list them here!)
I am here going to recommend to you all 3 of my favorite blogs…

This was the first blog that I got hooked onto. Following it for over 6 years now. Simple Dollar is mainly a personal finance blog…how to manage your money, career, Life. This blog has treasures hidden in it. Written by Trent Hamm, Simple Dollar was started in 2006 after a financial meltdown that he went through. I have picked neat ideas on personal finance from this blog..such as the day-today financial tools. This has helped me to shore up my personal finance in the larger context of life.

Zen habits was featuerd in the TIME magazine for being one of the most well read blog in the Internet. Written by Leo Babauta, the USP of this blog is to teach mindfulness in a practical way.  I attribute my early hour waking habit to this blog. Jump into this blog right now, and you will feel as if Leo is directly addressing  to help yourself uncover solution about your specific problem!

James Clear writes about science based ideas for living a better life and creating habits that stick. James’s posts provide clue to the building blocks that the Leaders use in their respective fields. Began following James in 2014…ever since that,  I await the Tuesdays and Thursdays of every week to read his blog post. He does not disappoint ! check out the best of his 2014 articles here

As  a New year is waiting right outside the door to arrive in, I highly recommend you these readings to focus on something purposeful in the upcoming year…

How to live on 24 hours a day

Arnold Bennett was a prolific author in the early 20th Century. I read his book "How to live on 24 hours a day" He explains his process in his book : that resulted him in being a prolific author: following are the learning: even in the busiest week, find 7-1/2 hours of time beyond the work ; Focus those 7-1/2 hours on thinking Time practice honest self-reflection using the below questions: what do want for yourself? what motivates you? what scares you? what embarrasses you? What are you proud of? What beliefs do you have that might be wrong? Are you caring for yourself or harsh with yourself? Authors Arnold Bennett
