Priority

Frank Slootman

Most often we are spread too thin across many priorites

We’re spread a mile-wide and inch deep

Feels like swimming in glue or moving like molasses

As an exercise, I often ask:

If you can do only one thing, for rest of the year,

What would it be? And why?

People struggle with this question because

It is easy to be wrong – which is exactly the point!

If we are wrong ,the resources are mis-allocated,

That’s concerning!

We often miss the pointed dialogues  because

It is easier to list five or ten priorities.

The right ones may not be even buried in there some where!

Priority is Singular!

The moment you have many, you actually have none!

My note:

Andrew Carnegie said it well :

Put all good eggs in one basket and then watch that basket.

Ladies and Gentlemen-

One Thing!
