A mind that is fast is sick,

A mind that is slow is sound,
A mind that is still is Divine!

 Passage Meditation:

Memorize a chosen passage

That is inspirational!

Be seated and softly close your eyes!

Go through the passage , word by word,

As slowly as you can!

Concentrate on one word at a time!

And let the words slip one after another

Into your consciousness – like pearls falling into a clear pond!

Let them all drop in words – one at a time !

After assiduous practice, the words will fall inwards.

You will see them going in and hitting the very bottom!

And if mind completely got away distracted,

Penalize it !

“Sorry , my dear mind,

You’ve run away from the passage ,

You will have to go back to the beginning and start again”

Every time , the mind escapes, gently bring back to the first line!
