You can aspire for the dream job etc., etc.,
but a bird in hand is worth two in the bush;
Shall I tell you what the best work is - The best work is the work right in front of you ;
However dull it is ;
I recently read the article of Dr Arokiaswamy Velumani whose first job as an associate : was to read research articles to his scientist (who was partially blind) ; ultimately this work lead this Velumani, an undergraduate to do a Ph.D in chemistry and then later build a business : ThyroCare - that made him a Billionaire!
One more story : an Intern was assigned job to read the
company annual reports and news letters and documents and replace with the new
name of the company; this reading of the documents ultimately made him so aware of the processes that led him to become success in his next roles and this fellow rose to become the CEO ;
So Job On Hand is the key;
