Modes of knowing

Mundaka Upanishad furnished the motto of modern indian nation

"Satyam eva Jayate", Truth alone prevails 

Knowledge is twofold- higher and lower

The study of veda,  linguistics,  rituals, 

Astronomy, and all the arts

Can be called as lower knowledge 

The higher knowledge is that which leads to

Self- realization!!!
