Here is the Technique
Time blocking
Time-blocking is the allocation of timeslots for predetermined tasks and working the task
Time-blocking works because : it prevents Multi-tasking while improving the Focus
Also, time-blocking, reduces the stress levels as it shifts focus from completing the Task to doing the task
How it works:
- Pick the Important , High Priority activity for the Day
- Open the clock App in your Mobile or Compiter : set the timer for 25 minutes;
- Keep working the activity for the next 25 minutes without breaking;
if you get distracted and do task switch , you have a penalty :Yaay!!!
you need to start all over - your 25 minutes !
So remember :
Working hard only works if you Focus long enough on the activity without distraction
Ensure that you are time-blocking your priority activities and work them out
