In those things which
are independent of the will !!!

தீதும் நன்றும் பிறர் தர வாரா !
புறநானூறு
Translated : Good and evil cannot be from externals!
All the Goods and Evils are within -
you desire what you have to
you shun what you have to
It cannot be from externals
externals are neither good nor bad !
Externals are indifferent to you!
Like the dice that you throw in the board game - Its indifferent to the player!
Instead of understanding that:
we end up admiring:Externals : Power, Position, Prosperity
And then get busy as bee about the Externals :
resulting in Anxiety and Fear!
and ultimately Suffering!
