Compounding: Nothing seems to happen, and then, everything happens!
Humans can only visualize linearity;
For example, in investments, we add “X” rupees every month,
and we can imagine that only the corpus growing linearly!
Amount = X × Number of months + Interest
But life happens exponentially!
In mathematics, there is a function: exponential function:
Y= exp(x)
We cannot fathom it: as it's tough to visualize as it kicks only in the “Long run”
Nothing seems to happen, but everything happens!
Its like Ice accretion in Snow season.
formation of the First layer of ice - takes time due to warmth of earth!
But then once the first layer is formed, everything builds up so quickly afterwards!
