For the man who gape after gold-
For one must pay the penalty for all greedy acts-
Although greed is enough of a penalty- in itself!
Greed is wretched
In that which it craves- for men always prefer what they failed to win!

for possession of riches means
Even greater agony of spirit than the acquisition of riches!
