How to Speak well?

 How to Speak?

Seneca

Letters from a Stoic

My notes:

Steadiest speaker , when before public,

Breaks into perspiration

As if he had been in tread-mill

Some tremble in knees,

As if Earthquake is occurring

For Some their teeth chatter

as if under delirium

Someone whose tongue sticks to upper roof

as if They drank fevicol

For some lips quiver

as if drunk

Now this happens to the steadiest of speaker

Not to the Novice

Now Good news and the Bad News from Seneca himself

Bad news: That which is implanted cannot be overcome

Good news : You can tone it done to such an extent that audience wont know - your perspiration, nervousness,

through sheer practice

Training and Practice prevent the natural tendencies from taking over you!
