Be the sun
pg 50 , Marcus Aurelius , meditations , Book 8Sunlight as it passes through the narrow opening
into a darkened room
when it meets any solid body
which stands in the way
intercepts it and the air beyond - as if to embrace
Such ought to be your outpouring and understanding as well
it should not make violent or impetuous collision
with obstacles in the way - nor yet fall down-
but be fixed and enlighten that which receives it!
